Welcome - I'm so grateful you are here. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges, build healthier relationships, and obtain/maintain emotional and mental well-being. I work with adults, couples, and teens experiencing relationship challenges, communication issues, infidelity, anxiety, grief, depression, life transitions, and stress. My practice is rooted in empathy, compassion, curiosity, and collaboration with a purpose. My approach is non-judgmental, culturally-sensitive, supportive and grounded in evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Therapy. As someone with a biblical perspective and background in sociology and human services, I bring a genuine, intentional, caring, humble energy into sessions, helping Clients feel seen, heard, understood, and supported. The Healing Place does not accept insurance at this time. Self-pay allows me to create a safe, supportive environment and fully tailored treatment without insurance restrictions, authorizations, or required diagnoses. However, I am happy to provide superbills for Clients wishing to use out-of-network benefits.
